Batiste

Postby Wild Boar on Fri Apr 18, 2008 1:49 am

since everyone who knows me knows my alter ego for the comic is Batiste, I thought of a design for a car incorporating the character. Here's how it goes. i got Batiste and Sarah on both sides of the car back to back with them hold there guns on the doors, each one holding their gun (Batiste has a custom made gun that almost looks like a sawwed off version of the M-7, while Sarah has a silenced Smith & Wesson semi-automatic 9mm Springfield XD, with a lazer scope.) on the hood blazed in old english italics will be the title of the comic Batiste: The Hunter. tell me what you guys think.

That Idea is a little farfetched....honestly it's not excactly my cup of tea...but if it works for you then shoot. A second thing, you wouldn't really want to silence a smith and wesson if you add a lazer to it, just a thought. It completely counter-acts one another for the fact that a lazer is for pecise accuracy, but is visible by others, when a suppressor is used for stealth and quietness...but again just a thought....maybe if you put more effort into the design it will look a lot nicer....but trust me...right now....no.

i'm just giving an idea of the format. do you honestly think i care if i shouldn't put a silencer and a scope together. if that's the case half of movies would be doing the wrong thing too.

one thing with the comic i must warn about. use the S&W as an inspiration for the gun but don't use the name unless you've licensed the rights to it. other than that it does sound like a great idea.

and about the laser thing, there are scopes with the red dot in the scope. on a 9mm if Sarah is as bad ass as batiste she would be an excellent enough marksman to be able to not use the actual dot on the wall thing. the reader doesn't need to know that the dot you show is just from Sarah's perspective its there to show the target so the reader knows the direction of the scene.

i'm not being hostile . i'm just saying it's not a big deal. if everything had to be perfect nothing would get done.

That is true but if it is perfect people will draw to you a lot faster and in larger crowds....I would like to hear them say....thats a hell of a car instead of that car is alright....ya get me?

i like the idea truly... now ive seen alot of show themes b4 carshow goers and most racers arent gonna nit pick the small things like you ursa's lol there gonna pay attention to fine detail of the weapon sarah's cleavage batiste's biceps seat on his brow maybe things of that nature the only time literal factual detail comes into play would be if say it was a cover for the comicbut not the door panel of a car, now with karnuj's input... anyone lookin at the car wont know shes a good marksman unless you sit there for an hour boar and tell them the full story of the comic... that wont happen so ya tasteful simplicity is usually the way to go unless your car is in a tokyo auto salon
