New main page idea.

what i want to do with the main page of kotq's site is implement a style i seen on a friends modelling site. news via left column bottom right quarter latest posts and upcoming events in the top right with nav bar to the far left possibly thinking of changing left column depending on what your mouse is on with club news as the default. any ideas or feedback on the idea itself?
