For reasons out of my control i am not putting any media on the site yet.



Regarding photos:(only ones being put into the site)
pictures i recieve from you guys from the IP you signed up with. if you had pictures with bobby i will use those if you had sent some from bobby and would rather other ones send them to SylentKnight@gmail.com.

regarding photos on the forums: get a photobucket. they are free and space is plenty you can also go through the punishing task of posting a picture through freeforums uploader but it likes to do what it wants and if you have a pic from a camera set to be 640x480 its going to take up the screen when it uploads in the forums. photobucket allows you to post directly to the forum via copy and paste link. if you fear of your art work (as many of you have original pieces) being ripped off a better idea would be to use a mask account what this is is you creat a photo bucket for candids, create a sub album inside an album and set it to view private. the only person who can post your links is you but even this isnt 100% safe as anyone can easily steal the picture using the right click option after youve posted it. if you do not want the hassle like that it is very easy for you to just ok another user to view the pictures in your private folder its called social filtering. an example of how you would get your work to the knights would go something like this:
"
Hey guys i just uploaded the new hood concept i came up with last weekend get on to photo bucket and message ::photobucketname:: if you are interested in checking it out."

Regarding video:
ill start off by saying we haven't done much worth posting for video yet. our site will not host awesome drifts we found on the internet nor will it host record breaking quarter mile runs unless a knight is driving and or owns the car. the copyright laws are heavy on "borrowed" content and there is a question up in the air as to if its fair to be sued if you only post the vids and dont make monetary gain. to answer this the best i can i ask you to start up a dvd from any store on the planet and pause the screen on the fbi warning. This Video is for private screenings. we are a website it doesnt matter how many security hoops i put up to let it be exclusive to knights (which by the way defeats the purpose of a website) there is always a way for outsiders to look at our content without our knowledge. the internet isn't and possibly never will be private, so any copyrighted footage that isnt owned by KOTQ is not allowed to be put on our page or any page that mentions us in it period, so if you think of putting up a kotq youtube and put said videos on it be damned sure there will be a backlash, we are not here to be breaking laws unless they are the laws of physics. it goes like this we cant afford lawsuits at this point in time and even when we get to a point where we can we dont want to.
so here are the guidelines of videos for the site:
1. created or owned by knights, if a knight isnt behind the wheel or the camera I dont want it.
2. no incriminating footage of any fellow knights, Hold a respect amongst yourselves regardless of how funny and or drunk the "star" of the video is.
3. no street racing, kind of falls under incriminating video, but i have to put it as its own seperate rule just in case.
4. if you own the video but another site pops up in the bottom corner of the viewer it wont be posted we aren't here to advertise for computer programs, if you have footage that you cant upload without the trial watermark on it talk to fellow knights i know i myself have access to ways to get the video on to the computer, the moment any companies name is imprinted on the video it is to be treated like the footage belongs to the company, we do not want the false assumption that we are sponsored especially by companies who don't know we exist.
