Now I don't usually post on other things besides my normal area, but I was thinking.
If it's possibly could we by chance set up a time (like the club meetings) to have an online chat discussion. That way we could get people who are to far to attend to keep in discussions 1st hand instead of posting and waiting for a reply.

Karnuj Is currently testing formats for an actual voice chat slash personal messenger that is live so he is the one who should be addressed.. on said matter and im sure next time he checks the page he'll update

I dont want to go ahead and call certainpeople out on this but a good way to test the waters is to have practice runs. i have not found any good sites where audio goes both ways and personally its kind of better that way being feed back would be a bitch. twitter.com right now and stickam are the best ways to go but until the holder of the meetings gets his ass a cam that works your pretty much waiting for the tech to evolve i do however have a practice page on my comp once we get onto either stickham or twitter with more than just myself and with better production equipment and lighting I will be pushing a vote on actually doing video of the meeting. i mean seriously that is really the only way our meeting notes section looks like it will be added to, is if i have video to edit. for those wondering. i believe bobbys cam is still in Va. so its one of those things where with gas prices there is no point in replaceing shit you already own you need to save for the tank. if anyone has a cam with usb/ 1394(preffered) capabilities and doesnt mind sitting around the comp to upload i can definitely get you guys into the swing. i hear that weeman has a dvd cam i can also rip video from them to put up. as with everything with the site its all a work in progress im not slacking on it just trying to figure out what the hell to do about obvious inconveniences. you have to work with what you got and sadly even if you have a 20dollar webcam you are not working with much. also youtube has just made it possible to do a live stream ala stickcam style but they dont provide the messengers like some clients. so in using youtube you are really unless you have your window sized to put your aim or what not on the side you are constantly moving the mouse while recording to make sure you don't accidently end the video, thats nice and all but when you are holding a meeting and checking 3rd party input at the same time its a bit of a pain. Best bet is to have someone (not me) there to monitor the stuff on the side and try and keep things rolling. these meetings would obviously be a bit different so my suggestion is Ralli getting his old cam *hoping he didn't get rid of it when he got his hd cam* and firewireing it up and testing out with wee man whose cam should also have the 1394 capabilities and see what they can do.
