i have some front speakers to my old 92 Mercury Cougar LS coupe D. can I put those into a 95 Dodge Intrepid?

I couldn't tell ya, it's always possible however....so you might want to ask at a meeting or somethin...ya never know.

it depend. i know if they are too big for the new car your SOL. but if they are smaller there is always boxes that can be made to fit.

swappin manufacturers doesnt always pose a problem because speakers are a generally universal thing in those years (90') but bear in mind wiring harness's for said speakers could pose a problem

Ok to further what Bobby said:

The Speaker size is all that actually matters as far as speakers non-custom

install into Oem holes... and as far as the harness usually for most manufacture's it is as goes

white lines are usually always the live in anything chrysler/daimler/ford
brown is usually the ground

but basic rule of thumb on anything related to that group is

green "true ground"

red or white " positive "

Brown/black/grey "negative"

for size comparisson go to www.crutchfield.com they have a database of all sizes and compatible equipment for free on every car you could think of
